Amelia is an Australian multidisciplinary performer based in the hills near Barcelona, bringing more than 25 years of experience to the performing arts. Her journey began at the age of five, performing Scottish dancing in a small rural town hall, and has since grown into an international career spanning more than 30 countries.
As a performer, theatre maker and director, she has collaborated with companies and worked independently at festivals and events around the world. Her clients have included La Mercè, BMW, and Formula 1, and she has performed and delivered workshops at events such as Woodford Folk Festival, Electronic Picnic, and The British Juggling Convention.
In 2023, she was nominated for Best Circus Act at the Zirkolika Circus Awards in Catalonia for her act Samantha Guineu - The Return of…. Amelia is currently in creation and investigation for her new show, Hope is a Dangerous Thing, which is set to premiere in 2027.
